Short-term or One-time Consultations:

Pause:
- When a patient wants to stop an ongoing program due to whatsoever reason, however wants to restart within the decided time window, this break will be termed as a pause. Read pause policy for more information. This is applicable only for long term programs and not to short consultations.

Online or tele-consultations at Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic refer to remote healthcare services provided to individuals seeking medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for diabetes-related concerns. These consultations are conducted virtually through secure online platforms or telecommunication technologies, allowing patients to interact with healthcare professionals without the need for in-person visits.
Offline or in-person consultations:
Offline or in-person consultations at Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic refer to traditional healthcare services provided to individuals seeking medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for diabetes-related concerns through face-to-face interactions with healthcare professionals at our clinic premises or designated healthcare facilities.
Adherence to Treatment:
Adherence to treatment refers to the extent to which patients follow the prescribed medical regimen or therapy as recommended by their healthcare providers. It encompasses the consistent and timely implementation of various components of the treatment plan, including medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, dietary restrictions, and other therapeutic interventions. Patients must only adhere to the treatment decided by healthcare professionals at madhumitra. Any other treatment modality may interfere with the current treatment modality decided by Madhumitra’s health personnel.
Informed Refusal
Informed refusal refers to a patient's decision to decline a recommended medical treatment, procedure, or intervention after receiving comprehensive information about the risks, benefits, alternatives, and consequences associated with the proposed course of action.
Nature of Services:
Diabetologist Consultation:
During this consultation, a qualified doctor will assess the patient's health utilizing various parameters and test reports. Counseling will be provided, and medications or further tests may be prescribed if deemed necessary. The consultation fee is Rs. 1000, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Diet Consultation:
In this session, a certified nutritionist will evaluate the patient's work pattern, daily routine, dietary habits, and preferences to formulate a personalized meal plan. The consultation fee is Rs.400, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Exercise Consultation:
This consultation involves assessing the patient's physical fitness based on various parameters. If the patient's health condition permits, an exercise plan will be recommended by our experts at Madhumitra. The consultation fee is Rs. 400, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Obesity/Weight-loss Programs
1-Month Obesity Program:
This program focuses on weight loss or obesity management and lasts for approximately four weeks. It includes one doctor consultation, two nutrition consultations, and two exercise consultations. An optional diabetes educator's consultation may be added as an extra. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 2699/-. Additional fees or taxes may apply. Madhumitra reserves the right to alter program details and pricing without prior notice.
3-Month Obesity Program:
This program aims at weight loss or obesity management over an eight-week period. It includes two doctor consultations, six nutrition consultations, and six exercise consultations. Similar to the 1-month program, an optional diabetes educator's consultation may be added. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 4899/- with the same conditions as the 1-month program.
6-Month Obesity Program:
This comprehensive program spans over 24 weeks and includes three doctor consultations, twelve nutrition consultations, and twelve exercise consultations. An optional diabetes educator's consultation is available. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 8499/-, with additional fees and taxes applicable. Madhumitra retains the right to modify program details and pricing without prior notice.
Weight Gain Programs:
1-Month Weight Gain Plan:
This program aims to facilitate weight gain and lasts approximately four weeks. It includes one doctor consultation, two nutrition consultations, and two exercise consultations. An optional session with a specialized weight gain expert may be added. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 2699/-. Additional fees or taxes may apply. Madhumitra retains the right to modify program details and pricing without prior notice.

Gestational Diabetes Programs:
Pregestational Diabetes Program:
This specialized program is tailored for women diagnosed with any type of diabetes before conception. It involves comprehensive care provided by doctors, nutritionists, and physiotherapists over a duration of 9 to 11 months. The program aims to manage diabetes effectively throughout the preconception period and pregnancy. Regular monthly follow-ups are mandatory, and additional visits may be required based on the patient's condition as determined by the healthcare professionals. The program fee is fixed at ₹ 6699/-. Madhumitra ensures that the duration of this program is decided solely by the healthcare experts to optimize the management of the patient's condition.
Gestational Diabetes Program:
This program is specifically designed for women who undergo Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) or sugar screening as per Antenatal Care (ANC) guidelines and are subsequently diagnosed with gestational diabetes during the 24th to 28th week of pregnancy. The program aims to manage gestational diabetes effectively over a period of 3 to 4 months. It includes consultations with doctors and nutritionists to provide personalized care and guidance throughout the pregnancy. The program fee is fixed at ₹ 3699/-. Madhumitra ensures that the program's duration is optimal for the effective management of gestational diabetes and the well-being of both the mother and baby.
General Disclaimers:
- The duration of consultations is not predetermined and will be decided by the doctor based on clinical judgment and experience.
- Consultations may be conducted online, offline, or through hybrid modes, depending on the patient's health condition and mutual agreement between the patient and Madhumitra's experts. Madhumitra reserves the right to deny online or hybrid consultations if deemed unsuitable for the patient's health condition.
- Madhumitra's experts may refer patients to other specialists, whether affiliated with Madhumitra or not, for better management of the patient's condition.
- Patients diagnosed with gestational diabetes must continue consulting a certified gynecologist until delivery. All recommended tests, including ultrasound scans, must be conducted promptly as directed by healthcare experts.
- Pregnancy and gestational diabetes carry inherent risks, and unforeseen complications may arise despite the best efforts of healthcare professionals. Madhumitra and its staff will not be held responsible for any damages, issues, or adverse outcomes experienced by the mother or baby due to diabetes.
- Patients may be referred to healthcare providers outside of Madhumitra's organization, and patients should not have any objections to such referrals.
- For programs with a duration of three months or more, installment payment options will be made available on request.
Long-term Health Programs:
Refund Policy:
- Patients have a 3-day or 72-hour window, starting from the day of the first payment, to request a refund. This period is intended to allow patients to assess the suitability of the program.
- Full refunds will be issued if the request is made within this window. Refunds may take up to 14-15 business days to process, and the refunded amount will be returned using the original payment method.
- After the initial 3-day period, a 50% deduction will be applied for refund requests raised within the following 3 days. This policy is designed to account for any administrative and processing costs incurred.
- No refund requests will be entertained beyond 6 days from the initial payment date. This ensures that patients commit to the program after thorough consideration.
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to infomadhumitra@gmail.com or through the support ticket system on our website. Our team will process the request promptly upon receipt.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation requests must be made within 3 days of the program commencement date to receive a full refund within 14-15 business days. This allows patients to opt out if they find the program unsuitable.
- After 6 days, a 50% refund of the paid amount will be provided within 14-15 business days. This policy acknowledges the commitment of resources made by Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic and ensures fairness to both parties.
- Patients must inform their health coach or a Madhumitra representative about their decision to cancel participation in the program. This facilitates efficient handling of the cancellation process and ensures transparency.
Pause Policy:
- Patients may request to pause their program for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 2 months. This provision accommodates unforeseen circumstances or personal commitments.
- Pauses shorter than 2 weeks will not be considered, as they do not significantly impact the program duration or progress.
- Pauses exceeding 2 months will be considered invalid, and the patient will need to restart the program. This policy prevents prolonged interruptions that may affect the efficacy of the program.
- Restarting the program within 1 month of the pause will require a payment of 30% of the relevant program fee. After 1 month, 80% of the fee will be charged. This 20% discount will continue as an offer till 3 months and later expire. This encourages patients to resume their journey promptly and minimizes disruption to their progress.
- Madhumitra reserves the right to declare a pause if the patient is unreachable or not responding to communications. This safeguard ensures that program participants remain engaged and committed throughout the duration of their program.
Discretion:
- Madhumitra retains the right to offer discounts or refunds based on internal discussion. This flexibility allows us to address unique circumstances and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Any modifications will be communicated to patients through appropriate channels.
- Alterations to break, pause, or hold periods may occur based on mutual discussion. We prioritize fairness and transparency in all our interactions with patients.
- Madhumitra cannot be compelled to alter amounts from the customer's end under any circumstances. We uphold the integrity of our financial transactions and business practices.
Short-term or One-time Consultations:
Payment Policy:
- Fees for consultations must be paid in full before the commencement of the consultation, either through online or offline modes. This ensures that patients have committed to the appointment and facilitates seamless service delivery.
Refund Policy:
- No refunds will be processed for short term or one-time consultations once the fee has been paid. However, if the patient is unable to turn up for the decided appointment day, he/she can reschedule the appointment for up to 3 times without attracting any extra charges for the same.
Discretion:
- Madhumitra reserves the right to offer discounts or refunds based on internal discussion. We strive to accommodate individual circumstances and provide exceptional customer service.
- Madhumitra is not obligated to alter amounts from the customer's end under any circumstances. We maintain transparency and fairness in all financial transactions.
Online Course Description and Access:
- The courses offered focus on chronic health conditions like diabetes or obesity, aiming to raise awareness among the general public and combat the prevalence of such conditions.
- Access to courses varies; while some are open to individuals regardless of their academic background, others are tailored for healthcare professionals. Certain courses may be exclusive to certified doctors, with access granted upon verification of relevant credentials.
- Users are advised to review the course description to determine if access is limited or offers lifetime access.
Pricing and Payment:
- Pricing details for each course are outlined in the course description.
- Payment is facilitated online, with taxes specified during the payment process.
Refund for the courses
- Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase, with refunds processed within 14-15 business days. Payment processing fees may not be included in the refund.
Discount Codes
- Discount codes may be provided for certain courses. Users must report any technical issues with applying discount codes to receive assistance. Discounts are not applicable post the deadline.
Intellectual Property Rights:
- All course materials, including videos, documents, and assessments, are protected by copyright, with ownership retained by Madhumitra clinic.
- Third-party content, if used, is duly acknowledged, mentioning the actual owner or source.
- Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of course content without permission is prohibited, and may result in legal action.

- No Job Guarantee: Although some of our courses may screen participants/learners to offer them an internship or job offers, enrolling into the course does not guarantee any internship/job offer. Creation of such internship or job opportunities is under sole discretion of Madhumitra clinic. We are not liable to offer a certain number of jobs/internships during any fixed period.
- Limitations: Completing the course does not give the candidates any right or authority to diagnose, treat, prescribe drugs, suggest tests or take any medical decision for the patient. Only those candidates who are certified from a competent authority/ board/ medical school prior to or post completion of the course earn authority to make medical decisions for a patient. However we encourage patients to verify their competency and certifications. If a candidate treats a patient without legal authority , and is subjected to any legal action, Madhumitra will not be held accountable. Additionally if any harm/dysfunction/damage to the patient who was treated or is under treatment of such an uncertified person, Madhumitra will not take any responsibility for the damage to the health of the person.
- The installment plan for all programs commences at Rs. 2499 for the initial visit, thereafter reducing to Rs. 2400 for subsequent visits or months, whichever occurs earlier, until the full amount is recovered. This installment option is not available for short consultations or follow-ups.
General Process for Payment in installments:
General Refund Process for all services or products:
- Contact Support: Users should contact our customer support team via email or the platform’s support portal to initiate the refund process. If users encounter difficulties, they may seek assistance from a Madhumitra employee, but requests must be raised through these authenticated communication channels.
- Assessment: We will assess the reason for the refund and verify eligibility.
- Refund Amount: If eligible, the refund amount will be calculated based on the unused portion of the course.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14-15 business days.
Our services may or may not offer diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. In some cases, healthcare professionals may request the patient or relatives to bring the patient for an in-person consultation. If in-person consultation may not be possible due to whatsoever reason, patients are advised to see a doctor available in their area and seek medical attention in an authorized facility.
Consultation with Medical Professionals:

User Behavior Guidelines:
1.1 Prohibited Activities:
- Users are required to comply with the following guidelines while utilizing our online course platform:
- Sharing Login Credentials: It is strictly prohibited for users to share their login credentials (username and password) with others. Each account is designated for individual use only.
- Illegal Activities: Users are prohibited from engaging in any illegal or unethical activities on the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, hacking, or the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material.
-It is extremely crucial to bring to notice any other treatment being followed by the patient and further decide ways to go about it after having discussions with Madhumitra’s healthcare personnels.
- Respectful Behavior: Patients/customers are expected to behave respectfully towards healthcare providers and refrain from initiating any conflicts or disruptive behavior.
Termination of User Access:
2.1 Grounds for Termination:
- We retain the right to terminate a user's access to the course under the following circumstances:
- Violation of Guidelines: If a user violates any of the guidelines outlined in section 1, we may terminate their access without prior notice.
- Misconduct: Users engaging in disruptive behavior, harassment, or any form of misconduct may face termination of access.
- Non-Payment: Failure to pay for the course or subscription may result in termination of access.
2.2 Notice of Termination:
- Whenever feasible, we will provide a written notice to the user explaining the reason for termination. However, in cases of severe violations, immediate termination may occur without notice.
- This Agreement is published in compliance with, and governed by, the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- The IT Act regulates electronic transactions, digital signatures, and cybersecurity, providing legal recognition to electronic contracts and outlining the responsibilities of intermediaries (websites) in handling user data and content.
- Madhumitra’s T&C align with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- The Copyright Act protects intellectual property rights, including content published on websites, likely addressing copyright-related matters such as user-generated content and licensing.
- The Trade Marks Act, 1999 governs the registration, protection, and use of trademarks (such as logos or brand names) if utilized by Madhumitra. Courts in Maharashtra will be approached for any disputes.
Dispute Resolution
1. Agreement to Resolve Disputes
This Dispute Resolution Section ("Section") applies to any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic's ("We", "Us", or "Our") services (collectively, "Dispute").
2. Our Preferred Method: Amicable Resolution
We strive to resolve all Disputes efficiently and amicably. You agree to attempt to resolve any Dispute with Us informally by contacting us in writing at infomadhumitra@gmail.com or by phone at +919421709949. We will make a good faith effort to communicate with you and address your concerns.
3. Mediation (Optional)
If, after a good faith effort at informal resolution, the Dispute remains unresolved, you and We may agree to utilize mediation. Any such mediation shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed-upon mediation provider, at our sole discretion. The cost of mediation shall be borne equally by the parties unless otherwise agreed.
4. Binding Arbitration
In the event that informal resolution and mediation are unsuccessful, YOU AND WE AGREE TO BINDING ARBITRATION AS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE MEANS TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE. This arbitration agreement shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act ("FAA").
The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator selected by the parties in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration service provider. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitration service provider within thirty (30) days of a written request to arbitrate, then either party may petition a court of competent jurisdiction to appoint one. The arbitration shall be held in Karad, Maharashtra, India. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on the parties and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and your use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Karad, Maharashtra, India.
6. Jury Trial Waiver
YOU AND WE HEREBY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
7. Entire Agreement
This Section constitutes the entire agreement between you and Us regarding dispute resolution and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
8. Severability
If any provision of this Section is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, upon written notice. You may also terminate your use of our services at any time.
- Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with users being notified of any changes.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by Indian laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
