Short-term or One-time Consultations:
- Short-term or one-time consultations involve one-time or limited-duration appointments with healthcare professionals, such as doctors, dietitians, or exercise specialists, to address specific health concerns or seek professional advice. These consultations may focus on diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or guidance on managing immediate health issues. Short-term consultations do not entail ongoing engagement or participation in a structured program but may involve follow-up appointments as needed.
Pause:
- When a patient wants to stop an ongoing program due to whatsoever reason, however wants to restart within the decided time window, this break will be termed as a pause. Read pause policy for more information. This is applicable only for long term programs and not to short consultations.
Online or Tele-consultations
Online or tele-consultations at Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic refer to remote healthcare services provided to individuals seeking medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for diabetes-related concerns. These consultations are conducted virtually through secure online platforms or telecommunication technologies, allowing patients to interact with healthcare professionals without the need for in-person visits.
Offline or in-person consultations:
Offline or in-person consultations at Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic refer to traditional healthcare services provided to individuals seeking medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for diabetes-related concerns through face-to-face interactions with healthcare professionals at our clinic premises or designated healthcare facilities.
Adherence to Treatment:
Adherence to treatment refers to the extent to which patients follow the prescribed medical regimen or therapy as recommended by their healthcare providers. It encompasses the consistent and timely implementation of various components of the treatment plan, including medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, dietary restrictions, and other therapeutic interventions. Patients must only adhere to the treatment decided by healthcare professionals at madhumitra. Any other treatment modality may interfere with the current treatment modality decided by Madhumitra’s health personnel.
Informed Refusal
Informed refusal refers to a patient's decision to decline a recommended medical treatment, procedure, or intervention after receiving comprehensive information about the risks, benefits, alternatives, and consequences associated with the proposed course of action.
Nature of Services:
Diabetologist Consultation:
During this consultation, a qualified doctor will assess the patient's health utilizing various parameters and test reports. Counseling will be provided, and medications or further tests may be prescribed if deemed necessary. The consultation fee is Rs. 1000, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Diet Consultation:
In this session, a certified nutritionist will evaluate the patient's work pattern, daily routine, dietary habits, and preferences to formulate a personalized meal plan. The consultation fee is Rs.400, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Exercise Consultation:
This consultation involves assessing the patient's physical fitness based on various parameters. If the patient's health condition permits, an exercise plan will be recommended by our experts at Madhumitra. The consultation fee is Rs. 400, with any discounts at the discretion of Madhumitra.
Obesity/Weight-loss Programs
1-Month Obesity Program:
This program focuses on weight loss or obesity management and lasts for approximately four weeks. It includes one doctor consultation, two nutrition consultations, and two exercise consultations. An optional diabetes educator's consultation may be added as an extra. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 2699/-. Additional fees or taxes may apply. Madhumitra reserves the right to alter program details and pricing without prior notice.
3-Month Obesity Program:
This program aims at weight loss or obesity management over an eight-week period. It includes two doctor consultations, six nutrition consultations, and six exercise consultations. Similar to the 1-month program, an optional diabetes educator's consultation may be added. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 4899/- with the same conditions as the 1-month program.
6-Month Obesity Program:
This comprehensive program spans over 24 weeks and includes three doctor consultations, twelve nutrition consultations, and twelve exercise consultations. An optional diabetes educator's consultation is available. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 8499/-, with additional fees and taxes applicable. Madhumitra retains the right to modify program details and pricing without prior notice.
Weight Gain Programs:
1-Month Weight Gain Plan:
This program aims to facilitate weight gain and lasts approximately four weeks. It includes one doctor consultation, two nutrition consultations, and two exercise consultations. An optional session with a specialized weight gain expert may be added. The program fee as of 08/03/2024 is ₹ 2699/-. Additional fees or taxes may apply. Madhumitra retains the right to modify program details and pricing without prior notice.

Gestational Diabetes Programs:
Pregestational Diabetes Program:
This specialized program is tailored for women diagnosed with any type of diabetes before conception. It involves comprehensive care provided by doctors, nutritionists, and physiotherapists over a duration of 9 to 11 months. The program aims to manage diabetes effectively throughout the preconception period and pregnancy. Regular monthly follow-ups are mandatory, and additional visits may be required based on the patient's condition as determined by the healthcare professionals. The program fee is fixed at ₹ 6699/-. Madhumitra ensures that the duration of this program is decided solely by the healthcare experts to optimize the management of the patient's condition.
Gestational Diabetes Program:
This program is specifically designed for women who undergo Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) or sugar screening as per Antenatal Care (ANC) guidelines and are subsequently diagnosed with gestational diabetes during the 24th to 28th week of pregnancy. The program aims to manage gestational diabetes effectively over a period of 3 to 4 months. It includes consultations with doctors and nutritionists to provide personalized care and guidance throughout the pregnancy. The program fee is fixed at ₹ 3699/-. Madhumitra ensures that the program's duration is optimal for the effective management of gestational diabetes and the well-being of both the mother and baby.
General Disclaimers:
- The duration of consultations is not predetermined and will be decided by the doctor based on clinical judgment and experience.
- Consultations may be conducted online, offline, or through hybrid modes, depending on the patient's health condition and mutual agreement between the patient and Madhumitra's experts. Madhumitra reserves the right to deny online or hybrid consultations if deemed unsuitable for the patient's health condition.
- Madhumitra's experts may refer patients to other specialists, whether affiliated with Madhumitra or not, for better management of the patient's condition.
- Patients diagnosed with gestational diabetes must continue consulting a certified gynecologist until delivery. All recommended tests, including ultrasound scans, must be conducted promptly as directed by healthcare experts.
- Pregnancy and gestational diabetes carry inherent risks, and unforeseen complications may arise despite the best efforts of healthcare professionals. Madhumitra and its staff will not be held responsible for any damages, issues, or adverse outcomes experienced by the mother or baby due to diabetes.
- Patients may be referred to healthcare providers outside of Madhumitra's organization, and patients should not have any objections to such referrals.
- For programs with a duration of three months or more, installment payment options will be made available on request.

Welcome to Madhumitra Advanced Clinic for Diabetes & Obesity (“Madhumitra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, programs, courses, and any interactions with our staff. By accessing or using our website (www.madhumitra.odoo.com) or enrolling in any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Scope of Services
Madhumitra provides educational content, clinical consultations, individualized diet/exercise plans, structured health programs, and online courses.
The exact scope, components, and duration of any service or program will be described at the time of enrollment and may be tailored by our healthcare professionals to suit individual clinical need.
Services may be delivered in-person, online, or through a hybrid approach depending on clinical suitability and mutual agreement.
2. Fees, Pricing and Inclusions
General principle: Program and consultation fees are published for reference only and are subject to change. Fees applicable at the time of enrollment apply.
Unless explicitly stated as inclusive or complimentary, fees do not include laboratory tests, medications, supplements, food ingredients, exercise equipment, or other third-party items and services. Any such items will be charged separately.
Applicable taxes, gateway or transaction charges, and other statutory fees will be applied where required.
Madhumitra may offer discounts, promotional pricing, or special offers at its discretion.
3. Payment, Installments and Billing
Payment for consultations must generally be made prior to the consultation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For programs, full payment or an agreed installment plan must be completed as per the payment schedule provided at enrollment. Installment options are offered at our discretion and are not available for every service.
Failure to pay as per agreed terms may result in suspension or cancellation of services until dues are cleared.
All financial transactions will be processed using the payment methods available on our platform. Refunds (if any) will be credited to the original payment method unless otherwise specified.
4. Refund, Cancellation & Pause Policy
We aim to be fair and transparent. Specific program pages may carry additional or slightly different terms; in case of conflict, the terms applicable to that program will prevail.
4.A Short-term / One-time Consultations
Fees for one-time consultations are typically non-refundable once paid.
If you cannot attend a pre-booked consultation, you may be allowed to reschedule (generally up to three times) subject to prior notice and availability. Rescheduling policies are set at the time of booking.
4.B Long-term Programs
Cooling-off period: You may request a full refund if you cancel within 72 hours (3 days) of the first payment.
Partial refund window: Cancellations made after the initial 72 hours but within the next 3 days (i.e., up to 6 days from first payment) may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to administrative deductions as per current clinic policy.
Beyond the partial refund window: Refunds are not generally available after the stipulated refund period unless exceptional circumstances apply and are approved at Madhumitra’s discretion.
Processing time: Refunds, when approved, will ordinarily be processed within 14–15 business days. Processing times for banks or payment gateways may vary.
4.C Pause & Reactivation
Participants may request a pause for active long-term programs for valid reasons. Typical limits and terms include a minimum pause period (e.g., two weeks) and a maximum pause limit (e.g., up to two months), but exact terms are set out at enrollment.
Pauses shorter than the stated minimum will usually not be considered. Pauses longer than the allowed maximum may lead to program termination and require re-enrollment.
Reactivation after a pause may require a reactivation fee or adjustment to the remaining fee, as per prevailing clinic policy. Specific amounts or percentages (if any) will be communicated at the time of pause/reactivation.
4.D How to request refunds, cancellations or pauses
All requests must be submitted through official channels: email at infomadhumitra@gmail.com or via the clinic’s authorized support portal. Requests will be reviewed and processed as per the applicable policy.
4.E Discretion
Madhumitra may, at its sole discretion, grant refunds, discounts, or make exceptions for compelling reasons (e.g., documented medical emergencies). Such decisions are final.
5. Service Changes, Suspension & Termination
Madhumitra reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, course, or program, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice.
We may reassign healthcare personnel, change program schedules, or substitute components with equivalent alternatives.
Madhumitra may terminate a client’s access for breach of these Terms or for behavior considered harmful, fraudulent, disrespectful, or non-compliant. Notice of termination will be provided where feasible.
6. Clinical Disclaimer & Medical Responsibility
Content, tools, and services offered by Madhumitra are for information and educational purposes and are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Use of our services does not automatically establish a doctor–patient relationship unless explicitly confirmed by Madhumitra.
Patients must disclose accurate and complete medical histories, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and any other relevant information necessary for safe care. Failure to provide accurate information may affect outcomes and relieve Madhumitra of related liability.
Madhumitra may recommend in-person evaluation, referral to other specialists, or urgent medical care where clinically indicated. Patients must follow instructions for tests and follow-ups as advised by healthcare professionals.
In case of medical emergencies, contact local emergency services or present to the nearest authorized healthcare facility immediately.
7. Online / Tele-consultations
Tele-consultations are provided subject to the suitability of the patient’s condition and availability of healthcare personnel. Madhumitra may decline teleconsultation if it is clinically inappropriate.
By using telehealth services, you consent to remote consultation and accept limitations inherent in virtual care (e.g., inability to perform certain physical examinations).
For privacy and record-keeping, teleconsultations may be documented in the patient record.
8. User Responsibilities, Acknowledgement & Consent
By enrolling in a service or using the website you confirm and agree that:
- You have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
- The information you provide is true, accurate, complete and up-to-date. You will promptly inform Madhumitra of any material changes.
- You consent to assessment, treatment, and follow-up as prescribed by Madhumitra’s healthcare professionals.
- You accept that outcomes vary by individual and that results are not guaranteed.
- You will follow prescribed advice and seek immediate medical care for emergencies.
- You will not rely solely on educational materials for critical medical decisions.
9. Intellectual Property, Content & Comments

Illegal activities (plagiarism, unauthorized distribution, hacking) or disruptive, abusive, defamatory behaviour will result in suspension or termination of access.
Course completion does not authorize clinical practice; only those with appropriate professional qualifications may diagnose or treat patients.

Selection and termination decisions are at Madhumitra’s discretion and may be subject to probation and performance evaluation.
14. Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Madhumitra, its officers, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from use of our services.
You agree to indemnify and hold Madhumitra harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your negligence, omission, or willful misconduct.
15. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Jurisdiction

If informal efforts fail, the parties may pursue mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the parties agree to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (or other mutually agreed Indian arbitration rules). Arbitration will take place in Karad, Maharashtra, India; the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to arbitration, courts in Karad, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction over disputes not resolved by arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in force.

Madhumitra may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

- The Trade Marks Act, 1999 governs the registration, protection, and use of trademarks (such as logos or brand names) if utilized by Madhumitra. Courts in Maharashtra will be approached for any disputes.
Dispute Resolution
1. Agreement to Resolve Disputes
This Dispute Resolution Section ("Section") applies to any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of Madhumitra Diabetes Clinic's ("We", "Us", or "Our") services (collectively, "Dispute").
2. Our Preferred Method: Amicable Resolution

In the event that informal resolution and mediation are unsuccessful, YOU AND WE AGREE TO BINDING ARBITRATION AS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE MEANS TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE. This arbitration agreement shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act ("FAA").
The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator selected by the parties in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration service provider. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitration service provider within thirty (30) days of a written request to arbitrate, then either party may petition a court of competent jurisdiction to appoint one. The arbitration shall be held in Karad, Maharashtra, India. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on the parties and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and your use of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Karad, Maharashtra, India.
6. Jury Trial Waiver
YOU AND WE HEREBY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
7. Entire Agreement
This Section constitutes the entire agreement between you and Us regarding dispute resolution and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
